Boat Storage Near Island Park & Henrys Lake

If you spend your summers on Island Park Reservoir, Henrys Lake or the Henrys Fork, you already know the hard part isn't the fishing. It's figuring out where the boat lives when you're not using it.

Storage right in Island Park is limited, and most of what exists is small units that won't fit a wake boat, a pontoon or a fishing boat on a trailer. On top of that, Island Park sits at over 6,000 feet. Winter up there is long and rough, with well over 200 inches of snow in a typical year. Leaving a boat under a tarp in that kind of weather is hard on the cover, the gel coat and everything underneath it.

That's why a lot of boat owners who play in Island Park store their boats with us in Rexburg.

About an hour south, right on your way

Elite Storage is just off Highway 20 in Rexburg, about an hour from the Island Park area. If you're towing home to Idaho Falls, Pocatello or Utah, you pass right by us. Instead of hauling the boat all the way home to squeeze it into a crowded driveway or side yard, you can drop it with us on the way and pick it up on your next trip north.

For cabin owners in Island Park, it works the other way too. Storing the boat down the hill keeps it out of the heavy snow and frees up space at the cabin all winter.

Storage options that actually fit a boat

Boats are one of the most common things we store, and we keep them in every type of space we offer:

  • Covered spaces, including extra-wide covered spots up to 17x40 that handle big wake boats and pontoons without threading a needle
  • Enclosed units for boats you want fully out of the weather
  • Drive-through units, so you pull in one end and out the other without backing a trailer into a tight spot
  • Open spaces for a simple, budget-friendly option

If you store in a drive-through unit, there's also an optional power hookup for $15 a month, handy for keeping a battery tender on through the winter.

24/7 access for early launches and late returns

Fishing trips don't run on office hours. Our gate is open to tenants 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You get your own keypad code, and you can even text the gate to open it from your phone. Leave for Henrys Lake at 4 in the morning or roll in after dark on a Sunday. Your boat is ready when you are.

Simple terms

Everything is month to month, with no deposit. Store the boat for the off-season or keep a space year-round. There's no long contract locking you in either way.

And if your trips include a camper along with the boat, tenants also get access to our on-site dump station, open roughly April through November.
